Personal Profile

Personal Profile Headline

Showcase your value, interest, who you are, very briefly with your profile headline and connect with opportunities.

ReputUp users can view your profile when they are searching for curator ( via Global search at the top of application page ). External users can view your profile who follow you as a curator of content shared by you on the social network such as LinkedIn, Twitter.

Set Profile Headline

  • Select Settings from left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Add your profile headline at field: Topics Of Interest > Description

Personal Profile Photo

Get noticed, members with a profile photo get more views than members without.

We get your profile photo from a social account you are using to login to ReputUp. We fetch your photo from the account every time you log into ReputUp to keep your photo in sync with your social account.

Change Profile Photo

  • Change Profile Photo of account site you used for ReputUp login
  • On ReputUp app click on top right profile image, logout, and login back into the ReputUp

Recommendation and Topic Selection

Recommendation content is selected for you based on your Topics of interest, selected by input from our team of curators across the world, other member curators just like you as well as data-driven algorithms.

Staying focus is key to success. Make sure to choose top three topics to align with your goals, career, business or other.

Select Topics for Recommendation

  • Options A: From Settings page
    • Select Settings from left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
    • Add Topics from Topic of Interest section
  • Option B: From Recommendation page
    • Select button Add Topic at top left hand side of Recommendation page.

Share and Share Schedule

ReputUp has made content sharing easy and convenient, just add content to Share Schedule when it is convenient for you. Content Schedule enables continuous engagement with your network, establish ongoing content share to your social network.

Share a Content from Recommendation page

  • Navigate to Recommendation page from left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Just click on share icon and content gets added to your Share Schedule.

ReputUp application follows blow rules for content you share

  • Content gets posted to sites you selected from the Settings page.
  • Content gets posted as per the share schedule time slots you selected from the Settings page.
  • Any new content added to share schedule gets added to end of the schedule list.

Example:

  • Share Schedule Setting
  • Content Share Schedule> Time: 6 PM – 12 AM, Day: Daily and Timezone: Las Angeles
  • First content added to Share schedule will get posted today at or after 6 PM Las Angeles time
  • Second content added to Share schedule will get posted tomorrow at or after 6 PM Las Angeles time
  • Second content added to Share schedule will get posted day after tomorrow at or after 6 PM Las Angeles time

Modify Content Share Schedule

  • Click on Share Schedule page link page on the left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Click on Manage link on a content tile.

Manage allows refining share behavior by allowing to alter following properties on content when it is posted.

Content Channel: Create, Share and Manage

ReputUp Channel provides a great tool to enable continuous engagement with your network. Channel allows providing a live feed of content relevant to your network.

Strategy to Create a Channel

  • Curate content for a Topic from Recommendation page e.g. IoT
  • Tag content with a keyword relevant to narrow theme e.g. Advance
  • Create a Channel from the Curated page based on Search Criteria e.g. IoT Advance.
  • All curated content, current, and future which meets the search criteria will be available on your Channel.

Create a Channel

  • Click on Curated page link on the left navigation bar (on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Perform search on curated content using Search on the curated page
  • Once you perform the search, “Create Channel” button next to search. Click on the button to create a channel.

Change Channel Name, Description

  • Click on left navigation bar ( top navigation bar on mobile ) Channel> “Your Channel.”
  • Click on Edit button on the Channel page at left top hand side to login to the Channel Edit page
  • On Channel Edit page you can change channel Name, Description, and Search Term.
    Note: Search Term allows to narrow your content selection. All followers will see the change immediately.
  • On Channel Edit page you can share the channel by clicking Share link at the bottom of the page
  • On Channel Edit page you can delete the channel

Delete a Channel

  • Click on left navigation bar ( top navigation bar on mobile ) Channel> “Your Channel.”
  • Click on Edit button on the Channel page at left top hand side to login to the Channel Edit page
  • On Channel Edit page you can change channel Name, Description, and Search Term.
    Note: Search Term allows to narrow your content selection. All followers will see the change immediately.

Curate Content

Curate is a great tool which you can leverage it many ways.

  • To bookmark a content and read it later as per convenience.
  • Create a Channel of content curated by you and share it with others.

Curate content from Recommendation page

  • Click on Recommendation page link on the left navigation bar (on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
    • Option A: Once you find interesting content, just click on a curate icon 
    • Option B. Add new content and curate it. Just click on Add Content button at top right hand and follow the steps.

Analytics and Report

Analytics are a collection of overview and report you care about most. The summary at the top of the page let you monitor many metrics at once, so you can quickly view activities you are performing. As of now, we have details reports for most important metrics, Channel and Shared contents.

Channel Detail Report by duration provides views and followers for a given channel.

  • Click on Analytics page link on the left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Click on Channel Summary Pannel on top of the page to navigate to the detail report
  • On detail report change duration between Last 90 Days or Last 30 Days.

Take appropriate action as per the data e.g. share a channel on social sites to increase the number of views, add more content to channel to increase more followers

  • Click on Analytics page link on the left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).

Following Curators and Content Channel

Following other Curator and Channel created by them is a great way to build your knowledge and expand your network.

Follow a Curator

  • Click on Search icon at the top or the application to perform a Global ReputUp Search. Search curator by Name
  • Search Result will display Curator matching your search terms. Click on Follow button of a curator tile.
    Or
  • Click on a curator name which will navigate you to the Curator Profile page. You can click on Follow button on the profile page.

Follow a Channel

  • Click on Search icon at the top or the application to perform a Global ReputUp Search. Search Content or Channel by Topic
  • Search Result will display Content and Channel matching your search terms.
  • Click on Channel section of the search result
  • Click on Follow button of a channel tile
  • OR Click on a channel name which will navigate you to the Channel page. You can click on Follow button on the Channel page.

Notification: Trending Topics

Trending Topics Notification

Keep up to date on topics trending on ReputUp or elsewhere. A topic is marked as trending based on activities related to a topic in ReputUp or on other reputed sites such as LinkedIn or Gartner.

Turn On / Off Trending Topics Notification

  • Click on Settings page link on the left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Go to Notifications section.
  • Set “Trending Topics” on or off with a slider on the left side.
  • Click on Save button at the bottom of the page.

 

New Topics Available Notification

Keep up to date on new topics added to ReputUp. A topic is added based on activities related to a topic other reputed sites such as LinkedIn or Gartner, request by users or curated by ReputUp experts.

Turn On / Off New Topics Available Notification

  • Click on Settings page link on the left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Go to Notifications section.
  • Set “New Topics available on ReputUp” on or off with a slider on the left side.
  • Click on Save button at the bottom of the page.

 

Activities and Statistics Notification
Keep up to date on your activities and statistics ReputUp so you can quickly view a summary of activities you are performing and take appropriate action.

Turn On / Off Activities and Statistics Notification

  • Click on Settings page link on the left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Go to Notifications section.
  • Set “Your Activities and Statistics” on or off with a slider on the left side.
  • Click on Save button at the bottom of the page.

Profile Privacy

ReputUp profile shows your Photo from an account which you leverage for ReputUp login, Headline, and your activities such as Channels, Shared contents, Followers. The profile allows other to know about you and connects with you.

As of now, we do not have privacy mode to hide your profile information.

Shared Content Not Posted to External Sites

ReputUp has made content sharing easy and convenient, just add content to Share Schedule when it is convenient for you. As per the schedule content get posted to the site you have selected.

To know a schedule for a content

  • Go to Share Schedule page from left navigation bar ( on mobile on the top left navigation bar).
  • Find the content from Page Search.
  • Content Schedule is highlighted in a green color background.

 

Modify a share schedule or share immediately

  • Follow steps above To Know a schedule for a content
  • Click on Manage link on left bottom side of the content title
  • From “Auto Schedule your content as per your setting” modify share date and time as needed.
